About The Project:

Following the merger of three companies: Charter Communications, Time Warner Cable, and Bright House Networks, the newly-formed company would be known as Spectrum. For businesses looking to advertise on Spectrum cable, they work directly with Spectrum Reach, who can then direct clients to Kernel - Spectrum’s in-house production agency that primarily develops TV commercials.

During my first week as Kernel’s new South Division Copywriter, I developed the concept and had a starring role in the video that would end up becoming the company’s national brand video. Viewed by thousands within the company, clients looking for production services, and at B2B events, this served as a kind of “brand manifesto” to highlight our capabilities.

In my role with Kernel, I’ve helped raised the standard for local productions, working on growing accounts including Cinemark, Eastman, and Weather Tite Windows. For the South Division, we’ve increased our production revenue (up 20% in 2019 versus the previous year) to lead all divisions, and we continue to roll out new standards and best practices for use throughout the company.
