 Bravo Supermarkets: “Dinner Around The World”

About The Project:

We had the opportunity to pitch a concept for a branding commercial to Bravo Supermarkets, a national grocery chain with more than 90 locations, including nearly 50 in Florida. While waiting for a consensus on whether the group would move forward, a store in Daytona Beach, Florida, wanted to be on the air with something similar to support business in their local market.

Coming up with an idea that could be used for multiple months, while not crossing any territory with what was pitched to the group proved to be a rewarding challenge. The idea of “dinner around the world” would be able to evolve into the national idea, should it be approved, while helping the individual location reach potential customers now.

Working with the Senior Editor for Kernel’s South Division Creative Team, I compiled the assets (Adobe Stock food drawings and the map), and came up with the structure for a commercial that could be adapted for different specials or times of year (Summer, Holidays, Spring, etc.), while hitting on the store’s key selling points. The result was a fun, fresh commercial that helped the Daytona Beach location stand out from their competitors in appealing to Hispanics and those looking for international ingredients.
